Prashanth and Meera in Mambattiyan

The upcoming film of Prashanth, Mambattiyan is said to be the remake of Malayoor Mambattiyan, one of the hit flicks of Thiyagarajan, Prashanth’s father.

According to Prashanth, this movie makes use of the state of art technology and this makes the movie to be more special and attractive for the audience. They have remade it all without changing a theme and have given the stardom to Prashanth’s father.

S.S. Thaman being the music director of this film, the songs are bound to be chartbusters. Prakash Raj is to do the role of a Police Inspector, who hunts for the Robin Hood of this film, Mambattiyan. Meera Jasmine is signed to do the leading actress role in this film.

It is being gossiped that Mambattiyan is to be released in 700 screens all around the world. The entire film is shot in the forests of South India. The music album has a single remix track, sung by Simbu and this forms the highlight of the music album.
